Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 in the home of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was one of the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. Early on, her father began to take an interest in theater. He performed on the Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions that were staged around Atlanta. After joining the airforce, in 1953 he appeared in an airforce production in Biloxi together with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. They got married in 1957. Walter attended Tulane University at New Orleans In 1957, the city of Louisiana where the couple had left the US Air Force. Walter became a member of Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio after the family moved from Atlanta to Decatur in Georgia in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday matinee local TV show for kids called Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. It was a venture that they funded themselves. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it was in operation for a period of about six years. They had two more children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa), and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also known as Julie).
